As a Armed Security Guard - Utilities Site - Flex in Bradley, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more .

As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a utilities location. In this dynamic position, you will conduct regular patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond promptly to any situations that arise. You will be responsible for carrying a firearm and must meet all armed requirements for this post. This role also requires driving as part of your daily responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is necessary. You will interact with individuals on-site, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of Allied Universal: agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity. Pay Rate: $19.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and sound judgment.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual circumstances.
• Monitor access points and control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and/or deliveries as required by site protocols.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns or emergencies.
• Remain visible and approachable to assist employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries or directions while on patrol.
• Maintain awareness of critical infrastructure and utility operations throughout the location to support the security-related needs of the site.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Armed Guard Card or License is required.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
