Oversee and coordinate system, operational, and financial activities for all locations within a market or set of markets. Serve as a member of the market management team, provide system and financial support, analysis and internal control compliance.
Assist LOB managers and location managers, to assure best practices and procedures are being followed.
- Train and mentor operations leaders in key financial drivers in a way that allows them to impact their financial results, specifically as it relates to data/transactions between various systems, i.e. Trend, Sage, and the Company daily sales/month end financial reports (Power BI).
- Train and mentor operations leaders in operating processes and procedures; ensure best practices are shared across the organization; advises leaders on ways process improvement can lead to financial gains for the business.
- Collaborate with operations leaders on the analysis of their P&Ls and help them create an action plan specific to their needs
- Assess the productivity/effectiveness of our business in each component of our business (e.g. sales, sales support, order entry, inventory, manufacturing, install, credit, etc.)
- Identify and work with operations leaders to address weaknesses/opportunities in the business (e.g. inventory turns, PPR, Lean initiatives, etc.)
- Analyze profitability of the business from aspects beyond the traditional P&L (e.g. the profitability of a product category, a customer segment, etc.)
- Key resource for system conversions in the market regarding set up, configuration, required business processes, training, etc.
- Oversee admin activities and related processes regarding key data elements that are entered into ERPs, including contracts, expected margin for material/labor, hours, etc., and the impact to revenue recognition schedules for all LOBs.
- Coordinate reviews of job costs/margins and ensure there is continuity from ERPs and Monthly financial reporting.
- Provide recommendations on enhanced reporting in EI Dynamics for LOB manager reviews specific to open/closed jobs.
- Review Company best practices as it relates to data quality and processing transactions in legacy ERPs by LOB, identify gaps, and work with Operations to incorporate process improvements.
- Ensure process of closing jobs in systems is timely
- Act as a liaison between Operations and Field Support Center, including back-office functions such as Accounting, AP, Inventory Control, Audit, Finance, etc.
Analyze and reconcile Market and Location monthly financials, including but not limited to sales, expenses, and assets and address concerns with market leadership and corporate Finance/accounting.
Assist in developing and reviewing market and location budgets and market business plans.
Initiate and track market key initiatives (including CAPEX).
Ensure adherence to internal control procedures, assist with internal and external audits.
Review and analyze; day end, month end, year-end, reconciliation reports, cash reconciliation, and accrual accounts.
Responsible for completion of the monthly Corporate Accounting cutoff checklist, if applicable.
Ensure proper revenue recognition.
Oversee locations physical inventories and inventory audits.

Personally, provide customers with knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt service at all times.
Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Adhere to the Company's safety standards and enforce safety regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
Supervise and coordinate activities of subordinates.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor's degree in related field and at least 6 years of related experience or equivalent relative combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of industry, local building codes, accounting, and computer skills.
- Ability to effectively present information to management, public groups, etc.
- Ability to write reports, memos, and correspondence.
- Language Skills -- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Mathematical Skills -- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Reasoning Ability -- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Microsoft Suite knowledge and experience, i.e. excel, powerpoint, teams, etc.
- Ability to learn and adapt to system changes. Previous knowledge of Trend, Sage, SAP, Power BI, etc. is a benefit.
- Certificates and Licenses None required for this job.
- Other Skills and Abilities -- Knowledge of products and operation.
- Requires use of tact to avoid conflict in carrying out assignments, as well as exercising continuous judgment.

- Subject to both typical office environment and outside locations with temperature and weather variations.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds.
