Actalent Animal Care Technician

Performs cleaning and maintenance duties

Conducts monthly sanitation of equipment and facilities.

Maintains accurate records of animals, supplies, and equipment.

Performs basic care of research animals for experimental purposes: daily observations to check animal health status and environment; reports changes in environment and/or animals; changes and cleans cages, equipment, water bottles and food

Unpacking and housing animals upon arrival

Performs husbandry and maintenance duties; Conducts monthly sanitation of equipment and facilities.

Maintains accurate records of animals, supplies, and equipment.

This position requires a HS Diploma or equivalent technical certificate.

A minimum of one year of experience in animal care is preferred for this position

Entry Level

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
