Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer. This role will take place out of our growing facility in El Paso, TX. As the Advanced Manufacturing Engineer you will coordinate and manage manufacturing engineering activities for new project introduction/development. This includes new production lines, new product development and new production lines, product transfers, equipment specifications and maintenance, lean manufacturing and EQS deployment, MESH initiatives, and product and quality cost improvements. The expected annual salary range for this role is $83,250.0 - $122,100.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. What you'll do:

Manage new manufacturing program launches.

Manage and optimize complex manufacturing operations, design new process solutions, and ensure products meet high safety and quality standards with a focus on Industry 4.0 technologies like automation and error-proofing.

Knowledge in Product Development Process/APQP. Experience with Engineering Change coordination and Implementation.

Participate and lead prototype build activities to ensure compliance with design intent.

Provide creative solutions to unstructured product and system manufacturing challenges from the factory.

Create initial process documentation (Process Flow, PFMEA, Lay-outs).

Investigate, analyze, and recommend alternate equipment and manufacturing methods.

Procure equipment and tooling per project plans and Eaton standards.

Resolve manufacturing problems using statistical tools and continuous improvement methods.

Develop and summarize capital appropriation data and narratives for projects.

Generate machine and production process capacity and capability studies.

Implement, promote and maintain a safe work environment by implementing a culture of zero accidents including prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules.

Identify, control and administer risk and danger in own area and manufacturing processes.

Promote the company's mission and vision by actively supporting Eaton's ethics and values as well as quality policies.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities:

Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering and Process Development.

Skills: Experience with Engineering Change coordination and Implementation. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS-Project). Experience with APQP / PPAP / PFMEA / DFMEA. Strong communication, organizational and computer skills. Effective interpersonal skills to resolve conflict, develop employees and facilitate corrective action while fostering an environment that supports Eaton values & philosophy. Change agent with strategic focus and executive command. Skilled in conflict resolution. Knowledgeable and experienced in Lean Enterprise methodologies, I4.0 methodologies, and advance manufacturing technologies. Skilled in advanced / complex root cause problem solving. Good communication skills at shop floor, technical and leadership levels.
