Join our dedicated team as an Advanced Life Support Paramedic, where you will be responsible for delivering emergency medical care in a pre-hospital environment, following established Paramedic Protocols and Policies. Key Responsibilities:

1. Respond to Emergency Calls: Acknowledge dispatch within two minutes and follow legal driving regulations. Communicate with dispatchers to keep them updated on your status.
2. Accurate Documentation: Complete run reports and patient charges accurately, ensuring all records are maintained in compliance with departmental policy.
3. Vehicle and Equipment Readiness: Ensure all equipment is restocked, the vehicle is cleaned, and report any issues immediately to your supervisor.
4. Provide Quality Medical Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments and perform all ALS protocols effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor.
5. Assist in the Emergency Department: Work under the supervision of ED physicians to assist with various procedures and chart skills performed.
6. Lead Emergency Responses: Take charge during emergency situations, directing team members to optimize patient care.
7. Maintain Equipment and Vehicle: Safeguard all medical equipment and ensure vehicles are kept secure and maintained.
8. Encourage Professional Development: Stay current with your certifications and contribute to staff training and skill sharing.
9. Community Engagement: Participate in public events and act as a representative of our EMS system to foster a positive community image.

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a Community Paramedic course and clinical training.
• Experience in pre-hospital care; critical care experience preferred.
• Valid motor vehicle driving record, with ongoing verification.
• Required licenses: EMT-P (Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic), ACLS - EMS, BLS - EMS, and VDL (Valid Driver's License).
• Preferred: Massachusetts Driver's License, PALS, NRP certifications.
