Overview

We are looking to hire an entry-level, Administrative Assistant who will play a crucial role in supporting the overall workflow processes within the branch.  This candidate will be the first point of contact for customers who are calling the branch.  The position involves creating a variety of documents using word processing software, including letters, memos, forms, dictation, and certificates of insurance.  Additional responsibilities include data-entry, managing incoming and outgoing mail and answering telephones. This position requires the candidate to be in the offce Monday-Friday and the work schedule is 7:30am-4:30pm.

What a day will look like

  • Create and format documents such as letters, memos, forms, reports and certificate of insurance.
  • Perform accurate data entry tasks to maintain and update records and databases.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely distribution and delivery.
  • Prepare and type checks and forms as required.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for easy retrieval of documents and records.
  • Undertake various duties as assigned.

  • Ability to pay attention to detail while working under pressure
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, monitor and control workflow, with close attention to deadlines
  • Be energetic/have a sense of urgency
About You

Required

  • Be able to work onsite, Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
  • Experience with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
  • Recent college graduate or high school diploma/GED

The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
