Accounting Manager - Financial Reporting

Position Summary

The Accounting Manager will join the Financial Reporting Controllership group, reporting to the AVP of Financial Reporting. This leader will oversee consolidations, intercompany accounting, and internal financial reporting while driving improvements in reporting and analytics. The role provides a balance of technical accounting, leadership, and process transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close, reporting calendar, and related deliverables.
• Lead financial statement consolidations and intercompany accounting.
• Supervise and mentor Senior and Staff Accountants.
• Strengthen regulatory requirements, SOX compliance, controls, and audit readiness.
• Lead and prioritize G&A expense team's work to align with departmental goals and enhance employee engagement.
• Drive enhancements in reporting accuracy, efficiency, and analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; preferred experience in public accounting
• Expertise in consolidations and intercompany accounting.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and audit procedures.
• Financial services and/or broker-dealer experience strongly preferred.
• Oracle Financials and advanced Excel skills a plus.
