The Account Manager MSW (Business Dev) is responsible for developing new referral relationships and managing existing accounts within hospice and palliative care services. The role involves promoting community and facility-based hospice programs to ease the burden on patients and families facing life-limiting conditions. Candidates should have experience in hospice or palliative care, business development, account management, and relevant healthcare knowledge including NY State RN licensure.
Our groundbreaking hospice and palliative care programs offer a significant difference when dealing with a life-limiting condition. We offer a broad range of services in the community or facility-based to help patients and their families ease the burden of managing a life-limiting illness or end of life care.
Overall responsibility for developing new referral relationship opportunities for perspective hospice patients; acting as a resource to these accounts and existing accounts in an assigned territory.
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of five years’ experience in business development and /or marketing in a health organization or business.
- Experience in Hospice or Palliative Care preferred and experience in Account Management.
- Knowledge of COPs for Hospice and Palliative Care and reimbursement for Hospice desirable.
- New York State RN licensure.
- CHPN after first year of hire.
