Aircraft Mechanic

Join a dynamic aviation maintenance team specializing in general aviation maintenance. As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and airworthiness of Airbus aircraft through routine maintenance and inspections.

Responsibilities:

• Perform A checks, line maintenance, and servicing on Airbus aircraft.
• Conduct on-call and scheduled line maintenance work for various customers.
• Perform routine maintenance and airworthiness releases, returning aircraft to service within the scope of approval.
• Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, engines, and associated components to meet deadlines and performance goals.

Essential Skills:

• 18+ months experience in recent line maintenance with an emphasis on troubleshooting, daily, and turn checks.
• FAA Airframe license is required.
• Experience with A330 airframes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• FAA Powerplant License (preferred).
• Commercial experience, including regional jets.
• Military experience, including helicopters.
• Basic tool set required.

Work Environment:

Work is conducted outside at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport in downtown Phoenix. The role involves working in various weather conditions, not in a hangar. Overtime is possible but not guaranteed, and there is potential for relocation to a new hangar with more space.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $39.00/hr.
