Investment Banking Analyst

We are looking for candidates interested in Investment Banking to join TD Securities as a Full-Time Analyst starting July 2026 across the following product/coverage groups:

Consumer & Retail, Financial Institutions, Financial Sponsors, Mergers & Acquisitions, Energy, Power & Utilities, Real Estate, or Technology.

As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will work on a collaborative and dynamic team, during which you will develop extensive industry experience, build long-lasting relationships and create best-in-class, client-facing presentation materials and financial models. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Build and maintain complex financial models
• Perform various financial analyses and apply valuation tools to assess opportunities
• Conduct comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research
• Draft external marketing materials and client pitch presentations
• Support in the execution of financing and M&A transactions
• Collaborate with various teams across the Corporate & Investment bank

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Results driven, proven academic excellence and strong interpersonal skills.

• Strong financial/analytical skills, knowledge of MS Excel preferred.
• Proactive and highly motivated
• Able to work effectively in a team environment and independently

The Investment Banking Analyst will provide specialized financial and statistical analysis on a broad range of marketing and execution activities, including conducting research, performing on-going analyses, preparing supporting documentation, and assisting in due diligence efforts on transactions.

Depth & Scope

• Works within a deal team under the overall direction of a senior officer
• Assists in the analysis of clients' financial situations, industry and market data, and M&A opportunities
• Assists in valuations of private and public companies
• Performs basic to intermediate financial modeling in Excel
• Provides input on external client proposals and internal underwriting memos; assists in the preparation of client presentations based upon the above
• Establishes an environment that promotes respect for the individual employee and adheres to the policies and guidelines of the Bank
• Maintains confidentiality of client information
• Experienced working professional level role providing a broad range of support to the team

Education & Experience

• Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics
• Series 7, 79 and 63
