Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment for 2-year-old children.
- Engage children in interactive and educational activities, including arts, music, and play.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the overall learning experience.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma; an associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education is preferred.
- Experience working with young children, preferably in a daycare or preschool setting.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Background check clearance required.
- Flexible, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor when interacting with children.
