ABOUT PHYSICIANS CARE:
As part of one of the largest independent operators of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast, Physicians Care has 12 locations across Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. Our centers are open seven days a week and are accredited by the Urgent Care Association for our dedication to quality and safety.

JOB SUMMARY:
As an X-Ray Technician, you will provide essential clinical care while performing x-ray procedures with a focus on patient safety and comfort. This role offers a full-time schedule working 36-40 hours per week with 12-hour shifts including rotating weekends, as well as PRN opportunities on an as-needed basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties highlight the main expectations of this position:

• Warmly greet patients upon arrival and guide them through their visit.
• Maintain open communication regarding wait times and next steps in treatment.
• Address patient concerns and efficiently resolve issues, escalating as necessary.
• Conduct follow-up calls to ensure patient satisfaction and care continuity.
• Support front desk staff with patient check-in and check-out as required.
• Accurately document patient vital signs and relevant medical histories.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision.
• Prepare patients for radiologic exams, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Adhere to documentation procedures for all patient visits.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• A minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certificate and ARRT certification preferred.
