X-Ray Technician

Job Overview:
As a member of our dynamic healthcare team, you will perform x-ray testing and operate diagnostic equipment while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This full-time position offers a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours per week, including 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. We also offer PRN (per diem) positions for flexible scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:
The following are the primary duties and responsibilities for this role, though additional tasks may be assigned:

• Greet patients promptly and assist with their needs.
• Communicate effectively regarding wait times and next steps in the treatment process.
• Address patient problems with empathy and seek help in emergencies.
• Document and monitor vital signs and relevant patient history accurately.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision.
• Perform x-ray procedures efficiently for physician evaluation and treatment.
• Ensure proper functioning of radiology equipment and report issues as needed.
• Maintain knowledge and skills in diagnostic imaging through ongoing education.
• Fulfill documentation and compliance requirements related to patient visits.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is a plus
