Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated X-ray and CT Imaging Technologist to join our team at the Bemidji Medical Center. In this role, you will have the chance to work independently alongside experienced professionals while gaining valuable knowledge and insights in a collaborative environment. You will provide high-quality images and specialized procedures to support accurate diagnoses.

Details of the Position:

• Facility: Bemidji Medical Center
• Address: 1300 Anne St NW, Bemidji, MN 56601, USA
• Shift: Rotating shifts, including 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts, predominantly during the day with some evening/weekend rotations
• Weekly Hours: 36.00 hours
• Salary Range: $31.00 - $42.52
• Union Position: Yes

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate specialized equipment to capture high-quality images and ensure reduced discomfort and radiation exposure to patients.
• Provide patient care and initiate life support measures when necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare professionals to enhance diagnostic processes.
• Utilize knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and diagnostic principles to improve patient care.
• Engage with patients and their families to gather essential information for optimized treatment plans.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program.
• Thorough understanding of diagnostic radiographic principles, including film processing, quality control, and radiation protection.
• Registered or registry-eligible by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists); must attain registration within two years of hire. CT certification is preferred.
