Duties:

1. Manage a full docket of workers’ compensation claims at varying stages of litigation
2. Develop comprehensive case strategies and litigation plans
3. Handle all phases of discovery, including depositions and interrogatories
4. Represent clients during court appearances, hearings, and trials
5. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams
6. Maintain a high standard of ethics and professionalism
7. Engage in ongoing legal education and development within the firm
8. Contribute to a team-oriented and client-focused culture

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in California
• Member in good standing with the State Bar of California
• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in workers’ compensation defense preferred
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Demonstrated litigation skills and courtroom confidence
• Commitment to professional growth and continuing education

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
