Windows System Engineer

*Description*
Responsibilities:
-The System Engineer is responsible for performing a wide range of systems
engineering tasks, including systems design, integration, and implementation.
-This role ensures that systems meet quality standards and adhere to specified
requirements, contributing to the successful delivery of engineering projects.
-Other support duties as needed/directed.
Experience/Skills:
5+ years of relevant experience
IAT Level II (Sec+, etc)
Active Secret Clearance is required.
Our client is looking for candidates with a strong Windows infrastructure background.
Key areas they like to see include:
Active Directory (AD) administration and troubleshooting
Group Policy Objects (GPOs) creation, management, and deployment
Basic understanding of Firewall
General endpoint security experience (for example, understanding of antivirus/EDR tools, firewall configuration/management policies, and patching practices)
A basic understanding of Zero Trust principles particularly the seven-pillar framework is desirable

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $44.00/hr.
