Welder

Perform MIG welding on fabricated metal parts for the production of standard and specialized products.

Follow blueprints and other engineered drawings.

Set up welding machines to necessary specifications.

Seek out opportunities to assist other departments when not welding.

Experience with MIG welding and setting up machines for light gauge metals (16 gauge to ").

Understanding of welding procedures, including electrode size, current, arc length and voltage, travel speed, and electrode angle.

Knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints.

Ability to convert blueprint knowledge into efficient product fabrication.

Experience with stainless steel fabrication.

Proficiency in blueprint reading.

The pay range for this position is $19.79 - $22.99/hr.
