Warehouse Operator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Operator to manage the receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming materials. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring smooth warehouse operations. Ideal candidates will have experience with SAP, inventory control, and forklift operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and sign for raw material deliveries
• Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips for accuracy
• Inspect incoming materials for quality and conformance
• Record receipts in SAP and upload documentation to Basecamp
• Collaborate with procurement to track and confirm expected deliveries
• Unload packages from trucks and allocate them to designated areas
• Label and organize inventory appropriately
• Contact suppliers or shippers to resolve discrepancies
• Manage returns or replacements for unsatisfactory shipments
• Ensure invoices are signed and processed for approved deliveries
• Maintain accurate records and support inventory control efforts
• Perform cycle counts per monthly schedule and report discrepancies
• Coordinate with Inventory Specialist and Purchasing on material usage and shortages

Required Skills

• SAP proficiency
• Inventory control and cycle count experience
• Material handling and shipping & receiving
• Forklift operation and logistics knowledge
• Data entry and documentation accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse inventory systems
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and FedEx shipping processes
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move packages and materials
• Comfortable operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
