Warehouse Associate
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, stock keeping, picking, packing, and shipping activities. This role also supports counter sales, housekeeping, and related quality assurance functions to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Primary Responsibilities

• Receive and process all incoming shipments.
• Verify purchased products and enter order receipts into WESCO's system.
• Perform quality assurance inspections as required.
• Place received material into proper warehouse storage locations, segregating backorders as needed.
• Relocate and consolidate material; notify management of new bin/table locations.
• Pull, pack, weigh, and label materials for shipment, including assemble-and-hold orders.
• Prepare bills of lading and express receipts.
• Assist with loading trucks and preparing delivery records.
• Maintain required forms for returns and inspect returned material before authorization.
• Return stock to appropriate locations pending credit memo, sale, or supplier return.
• Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and trucking/parking areas.
• Assemble and disassemble bins, racks, shelves, and tables as needed.
• Administer preventative maintenance for delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment.
• Record and process customer complaints, ensuring proper follow-up or escalation.
• Maintain counter stock and assist with over-the-counter sales as needed.

Job Requirements
Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills & Requirements

• Basic computer proficiency
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Working Environment

• Work is performed in a warehouse setting.
• Noise level is generally moderate.
• Environment is typically well-lit and ventilated but may involve exposure to varying weather conditions.
• Employees may be required to wear protective clothing.
• Operation of heavy equipment and adherence to strict safety protocols is required.

Physical Requirements

• Physically demanding role requiring the ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds.
• Use of hand tools is required.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
