Job Title: Warehouse Associate, 1st Shift

Job Description

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for accurately tracking inventory using barcode scanners, moving boxes with a pallet jack, packing boxes with the appropriate amount of inventory based on load sheets, and loading/unloading truck shipments. You will ensure all activities comply with applicable safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes to accurately track inventory.

• Utilize a pallet jack to move boxes.

• Accurately pack boxes with the appropriate amount of inventory based on load sheets.

• Load and unload truck shipments.

• Follow all applicable safety policies and procedures.

Essential Skills

• Experience in packing and material handling.

• Proficiency with forklifts and pallet jacks.

• Ability to operate an RF scanner.

• Skills in order picking, sit down forklift operation, and inventory control.

• Previous warehouse or distribution experience.

• Experience in shipping, receiving, and cycle counts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift 45 lbs throughout the shift.

• Capability to work independently.

• Effective counting skills and basic shop math proficiency.

Work in a small company that started in 2018, with a current team of 13 full-time employees, 5 part-time employees, and 3 temporary employees. The company is planning significant growth, aiming to triple its business this year. The facility maintains a comfortable temperature year-round.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
