Veterinary Technician Anesthesia Lead

VCA Veterinary Specialists of CT is looking to expand our specialty team! Veterinary Specialists of CT is seeking a Lead Veterinary Anesthesia Technician to join our Specialty Team.

Lead Veterinary Anesthesia Technician Responsibilities:

Advanced Anesthesia procedural monitoring

Full Technician Skill Utilization

Collect patient history & physical exams

Refill medications refills and communicate with clients

Medical calculations

Venipuncture / IVC placement

Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)

Work collaboratively with team members of all hospital services

Provide compassionate care for all patients

Potential Schedule: Full-time, weekday shifts. Incentivized voluntary on-call shifts.

Compensation: $25 - $35 per hour (Based upon skill level and certifications)

This role is suited for a Certified Technician with at least 2 years of anesthesia experience in a specialty hospital. Candidate must be positive, able to assist with case flow, support the specialty team with challenging surgical cases and provide training and support as appropriate.
