Austin Veterinary Emergency & Specialty (AVES) is growing fastnew doctors, expanded services, and a cutting-edge 45,000 sq. ft. hospital on the way! We're looking for a Clinical Manager to lead with energy, compassion, and expertise. In this key role, you'll guide daily operations, support and mentor staff, and partner with leadership to deliver top-tier patient care and client service. The Clinical Manager plays a vital leadership role at AVES, serving as a positive role model for staff while overseeing all aspects of daily clinical operations. Working closely with the Medical Director and Hospital Director, this position ensures that departmental standards are consistently met and organizational goals are achieved.

Core responsibilities include creating and managing staff schedules, coaching and developing team members, and delegating responsibilities to support smooth, efficient operations. The Clinical Manager also contributes directly to patient care, ensuring that every patient receives compassionate, high-quality treatment and that thorough medical records are maintained throughout hospitalization.

Success in this role requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships with doctors, technical staff, client service representatives, the education department, and fellow leaders. The ideal candidate is dependable, energetic, and highly organizedcapable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a strong focus on patient care and client service excellence.

The ideal salary range for the opportunity is $70,000-$85,000. The final salary is based on skills and experience.

Requirements:

• High School diploma is required, Associate's degree (A. A.) in animal technology or Bachelor's preferred along with current technical certification (RVT, CVT, LVT, CVA).
• Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• At least 5 years of experience working in a veterinary clinical role.
• At least 2 years of full-time work experience in a leadership role (lead, supervisor, manager).
• Culture buildersteam players eager to promote trust, collaboration, and a positive work environment.
• Adaptabilityindividuals willing to go the extra mile to ensure the best patient and client experience.
• Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus.

We are a robust 24/7/365 veterinary facility that offers Emergency, Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Oncology, Diagnostic Imaging, Interventional Radiology and Cardiology services.
