About the Hybrid Role:

Patient Care & Clinical Support

n
• n

  Providing compassionate care for patients in all interactions.

  n
n
• n

  Assisting surgical staff with surgical and dental procedure preparation, practice, recovery and clean up.

  n
n
• n

  Performing basic hospital maintenance including but not limited to laundry, cleaning, restocking and organizing

  n
n
• n

  Client education and care though all phases of the client journey

  n
n

Client Communication & Customer Service

n
• n

  Communicating with pet owners with professionalism and empathy.

  n
n
• n

  Greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and pets to exam rooms.

  n
n
• n

  Scheduling and confirming appointments.

  n
n
• n

  Placing follow-up calls and reaching out to prospective clients.

  n
n
• n

  Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.

  n
n
• n

  Recommending, selecting, and dispensing products and services, including prescriptions.

  n
n
• n

  Answering client questions regarding hospital services and general pet care (e.g., heartworm prevention, flea/tick control, housebreaking).

  n
n

Administrative & Facility Responsibilities

n
• n

  Managing medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.

  n
n
• n

  Maintaining hospital cleanliness and sanitation at all times, including removal of animal waste, to ensure a neat and welcoming environment both inside and outside the facility.

The pay range for this position is $18-$19/hr
