• Schedule:  Full-time, Day, Monday - Friday with call evenings and weekends and Holidays.  Hours will vary as staff rotate their hours anywhere from 7 am start to 8:30 am start

Responsibilities

Perform vascular diagnostic procedures to detect peripheral vascular disease or obstructions.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient for presence of peripheral vascular disease by selecting most effective procedures
  within regulatory and compliance guidelines.
• Perform appropriate diagnostic procedures, record patient test results and report results.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during tests, alert physicians to abnormalities or changes in
  patient responses.
• Maintain adequate supplies and verify all equipment is in proper working condition; report
  deficiencies and failures.
• Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
• Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality,
  correct lead markers and patient data/history).
• Assist in maintaining a clean, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas,
  dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart
  Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of
  Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer
  date required.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within
  3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
  degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

IR experience preferred
