Vascular Sonographer Opportunity

As a Vascular Sonographer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care within one of the nation's leading healthcare organizations. Take the opportunity to work closely with over 900 medical providers across 65 specialties, contributing to coordinated and accountable patient care.

About the Role:

• Perform vascular and/or cardiac sonography using high-frequency sound waves upon the request of qualified healthcare providers.
• Utilize our Radiology Information System (RIS) for clerical tasks and the Patient Archiving System (PACS) where applicable.
• Assist with other assigned duties such as EKGs, Holter monitoring, event monitoring, and various echocardiography procedures, depending on your training and credentials.

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Hold RDCS or RCS and RVT or RVS credentials.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in echocardiography and vascular studies.
• Ability to complete echocardiography studies meeting the standards of Kelsey-Seybold Cardiologists, or completion of an accredited program with relevant clinical rotations and supervision.
• Availability to work extended shifts as needed by the Cardiology Lab.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Over 2 years of experience in performing vascular or echocardiography.
• Familiarity with GE Ultrasound, Philips Ultrasound, Parks Flo Lab, and Unetixs equipment.
• Experience with PACS and RIS systems.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

The hourly pay for this role ranges from $28.27 to $50.48, depending on qualifications and experience. You will also benefit from a comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k contributions, and more.
