Utility Payment Clerk (Cashier)

Our client, a leading organization in the public service sector, is seeking a dedicated Utility Payment Clerk to join their team. As a Utility Payment Clerk, you will be an essential part of the customer service and administrative support team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Roxboro, NC

Pay Range: $16- $18 depending on exp

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm Duration: Temp 4-6 weeks

What's the Job?

• Processing payments at the payment window and drive-thru efficiently and accurately
• Entering payment details into the system with precision to ensure transaction accuracy
• Greeting visitors warmly and notifying relevant personnel of their arrival
• Handling various payment methods including cash, credit/debit cards, and checks
• Performing clerical or data entry tasks as assigned to support daily operations

What's Needed?

• No prior experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
