Utility Laborer

We are seeking dedicated Utility Technicians to join our team in East Brunswick, NJ. The role involves the installation of drainage pipes, storm drains, water drains, sewage drains, and managing overall pipe installation projects in New Jersey. You will work under the guidance of the Director of Civil Construction and New Commercial Construction.

Responsibilities

• Install underground utilities including storm drains, sewer mains, and water mains.
• Operate heavy equipment efficiently and safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other team members and communicate effectively.
• Follow directions from management to complete projects on time.

Essential Skills

• Experience in the installation of underground utilities.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in running heavy equipment.
• Understanding of OSHA regulations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency with using lasers for pipe leveling.
• Experience installing water lines, sewer lines, and drain lines.
• OSHA Certifications are a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position based in Milltown, New Jersey. You will work alongside our management team, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Brunswick, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
