Utility Laborer

As a Utility Laborer, you will play a crucial role in the production of cleaning and sanitation solutions. Your main responsibilities will include accurately measuring and mixing raw materials according to batch sheets and formulas, ensuring safe and efficient operations within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw materials to produce cleaning and sanitation solutions according to batch sheets and formulas.
• Operate forklifts to safely move raw materials, finished products, and supplies within the facility.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and staging areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of batching and production areas.
• Monitor equipment during operation to ensure proper function and report any issues to maintenance or supervision.
• Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE and safe chemical handling practices.
• Complete required production and quality control documentation accurately and on time.
• Assist with inventory counts and material tracking.
• Perform other production-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Essential Skills

• Material handling
• General labor
• Warehouse production
• 6 months of forklift operating experience
• Warehouse experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50-75lbs
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Batching or chemical manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
• Comfortable with mixing or batching chemicals (no acidic chemicals used for cleaning)

This is a Contract position based out of Brandon, South Dakota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
