ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for an Usher for ASM Global/Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square. Essential duties and responsibilities include surveying the assigned area and reporting any problems to their supervisor, familiarizing themselves with emergency locations, greeting each guest, checking each ticket thoroughly, guiding each guest to the correct seat, keeping crosswalks and aisles clear, receiving and acting on any complaints from guests, and helping to clear the building after events. Qualifications include being at least 18 years of age, successfully passing a criminal background check, excellent communication skills, the ability to read and understand written English, the ability to distinguish colors of different credentials, the ability to stand for long periods of time and climb stairs, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Education and/or experience required includes a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of customer service or retail experience. Physical demands include moving around the facility, standing for long hours during events, and talking and hearing. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.
