Pharmacy Technician

Maintains quality accuracy and integrity of inventory for example pharmaceuticals supplies by ensuring adherence to and documentation of inventory control procedures. Assists in fulfillment of pharmacy prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist in a Home Delivery Specialty pharmacy. Complies with Medicare and Medicaid policies and procedures by implementing and adhering to rules and regulations for processing orders. Monitors and resolves problems in the prescription fulfillment process by utilizing knowledge of pharmacy processing procedures. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies data and resources. Complies with company policies procedures and standards of ethics and integrity.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.50-$20.50*. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).

Minimum Qualifications

Meets state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, such as minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required by the State Board of Pharmacy. Must obtain national certification issued by PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) within one year of job entry in Walmart designated states.
