Phlebotomist - Warner Robins

We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team in Warner Robins. In this role, you will perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups. You will also collect specimens for various tests including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests, while ensuring accurate and timely data entry of patient information.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests.
• Enter patient information accurately and promptly into the system.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs for patient and specimen information.
• Provide excellent customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in phlebotomy, venipuncture, and blood collection techniques.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Over two years of experience as a phlebotomist.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work overtime if needed.

Work Environment

The position operates from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 1-hour lunch break. The work environment is professional, with opportunities for continued growth in a large organization with multiple locations in Georgia.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Warner Robins, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
