Urgent Care Physician

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Urgent Care Physician Locum to work in coverage in Quincy, Illinois. Looking forward to starting April 1 st , 2026. The role offers a competitive market rate and Locums benefit.

The Urgent Care Role(s):

• Need: Full-time. 12 shifts per month. 4-shifts in a block (typically)
• Schedule: 6a-6p or 10a-10p
• Scope: Solo (from 6a-9a)
• EMR: EPIC
• Duties: Walk-in Clinic Averages 60-70 patients per day (between three providers).
• Cases: Some Ortho, x-rays, splitting, suturing, foreign body eye removal, cough sore throat, UTI, STD testing/pelvic exam, flu, rashes, etc.
• Procedures: Splinting, suturing required

Requirements of the Urgent Care role:

• IL state license; active, unrestricted.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible
• DEA, ATLS, PALS, CSR.
• Credentialing: 120 days, quicker for responsive doctors.
• CV education and work history in MM/YYYY format
