Job Description
Responsibilities

• Understand, support, and implement the mission of the facility to deliver health care to those in need in the performance of all job responsibilities.
• Ensure that patient care meets or exceeds the facility quality standards.
• Ensure that patient satisfaction meets or exceeds standards set by the facility.
• Educate patients on both clinical and managed care.
• Participate in clinic and network task forces as requested and appropriate.
• Function as an effective clinic team member.
• Meet productivity standards.
• Effectively use clinic financial and other performance information.

Qualifications
License/Certification/Experience:

• Masters or higher level education in Nurse Practitioner program
• Active Kentucky PA or APRN License
• Experience in Express/Urgent Care required

Overview
Our Palomar Express Care Clinic is a well-established and high functioning clinic, focusing on intentional patient care for life's non-threatening ailments and injuries. Experiences Express/Urgent Care Providers are needed to pick up shifts on an as-needed basis, allowing for flexible scheduling. Advanced Practice Providers can expect to see patients with everday ailments that do not require a hospital visit, including but not limited to the following:

• Coughs
• Earaches or infections
• Fever
• Flu shots
• Lab work
• Minor burns, bruises and cuts
• Minor sprains and strains
• Sore throats
• Sports physicals
• Stitches
• Upset stomach
