We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 50-day locum tenens assignment in Texas. This role begins on Nov 6, 2025, and offers 8 and/or 12 hour shifts with a guaranteed 30-40 hours per week. Providers must be comfortable working independently as the sole provider in an urgent care setting and demonstrate flexibility with scheduling throughout the contract.

Responsibilities and Duties

Serve as the sole provider in an urgent care setting
Deliver comprehensive urgent care to patients with a variety of conditions
Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and non-emergent medical issues
Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient encounters
Collaborate with support staff to provide quality patient care
Maintain compliance with all relevant clinical protocols and guidelines

Additional Information

Must have at least 2 years of recent urgent care experience
Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Texas required
Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and clinic workflows
