POSITION SUMMARY :
The Upholstery Assembler position is responsible for putting the vinyl covers and or carpet on the production and warranty components and securing them in place.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Installs components on to sub-straights using various stretching, pulling and shaping techniques
Completes work and inspects finished product for quality.
Performs various manual assembly operations such as: trimming, hinge installation, and foam gluing.
Identifies components for each task.
Operates and performs daily cleaning and maintenance on various assembly machines such as: snap, hydem machine, screw guns, drills and staple guns.
Identifies direction of nap of carpet.
ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

Ability for rapid mental and muscular Depth perception and distance
Coordination simultaneously
Quality minded
