Job Requirements

Education Requirements: Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent.
Certifications Requirements: Valid Texas driver's license
Experience Requirements: One-year of full-time phlebotomy work preferred but not required; minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
Other Requirements: Must comply with immunization requirements; must submit to drug testing and fingerprinting; strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

Perform phlebotomy on patients of all ages.
Perform computer data entry.
Process and package specimens for transport to reference lab.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate specimen collection and processing.
Maintain compliance with all facility-specific training and immunization requirements.
Document patient information and specimen details accurately in the EMR system.
Execute safety protocols and proper disposal procedures for biological materials.
