As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to foster a secure environment at a dynamic retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and offering exceptional customer service to visitors and staff. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while enforcing site policies and procedures.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in daily reports according to Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
