As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a high-end retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, maintaining visibility to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to visitors and staff. Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri12:30 PM - 09:00 PMSat10:30 AM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to observe and report any unusual activity.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or customers with directions and general inquiries.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to maintain a welcoming environment while supporting security-related protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
