UH-60 Blackhawk Mechanic

Aviation A&P Technician

Aerotek Aviation is looking to hire an experienced A&P Technician to perform maintenance on Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters. This Mechanic will be responsible for performing the full range of maintenance, repair, modifications, inspections and servicing of aircraft in accordance with approved methods, techniques and practices and certifies work accomplished.

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform the full range of airframe and engine maintenance, repair, modifications, inspections and servicing of aircraft in accordance with approved methods, techniques and practices and certifies work accomplished.
• Troubleshoot systems and use the Federal Supply System
• Read and understand manuals and schematics
• Read and interpret all instruments
• Use special test equipment and tools
• Perform full system checkout

Must Haves:

• Must have an active FAA A&P license
• Need at least 3 years of UH-60 Black Hawk maintenance experience
• Able to obtain Secret Military Clearance
• Must have or be able to obtain minimum list of tools (Etched & Shadowed)

After 6 months of employment the pay rate increases to $52.96 an hour.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00/hr.
