Trust & Estate Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced Trust & Estate Paralegal with a strong background in trust and estate administration. The ideal paralegal will have excellent organizational skills and experience working on trust and estate matters for high-net-worth clients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with trust and estate administration, including asset inventory and distributions.
• Prepare and file IRS Forms 706 (Estate Tax Return) and 709 (Gift Tax Return) - preferred not required.
• Draft and review trust and estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Manage probate filings, including petitions, inventories, and accountings.
• Communicate with executors, trustees, beneficiaries, and court officials regarding probate and trust and estate matters.
• Conduct research related to trust and estate law, tax implications, and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

• Experience as a paralegal in trust and estate law.
• Excellent legal research, drafting, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in legal software and document management systems.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with great attention to detail.
