Non CDL Truck Driver

Immediate opening for a NON CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Billings, MT

Truck Driver Pay: $880 or more per week - And it gets better

Driver Positions Pay Weekly

Hourly Pay: $22.00 Per Hour

Hours Per Week: 40 - 45 hours per week

Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel - Typically 1 overnight per week

Paid Training

Schedule: Monday Thursday OR Tuesday - Friday

Start Time: 5:00 AM - 7:00 AM dispatch

Deliver As a Team or Solo: MT, WY

Route: Regional/Home Daily Mix - 1 Night out per week

Tractor Type: Straight Truck (Minimum of 12 months of verifiable box truck driving experience)

Trailer Type: 26' Straight Truck

Equipment: Pallet Jack and Liftgate

Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful

Freight: Touch Cable Equipment/Electronic Equipment

Experience driving in snow

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age

Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience

Pass a Ryder Drug Test

Must have verifiable driving experience (*must be in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck):

6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR

2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR

5 years' experience within the last 10 years

Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Pass a DOT physical

Pass a Ryder road test

Must have a valid driver's license

Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions

Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.

Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards

Maintaining accurate records Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer

Other tasks as assigned
