Department: 2OR, 2Pre-OP/Post-OP, 8Labor Room, 4OBED Room, Labor & Delivery Unit

FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Nights

Pay: $44.00 per hour plus travel package/stipend

LOCAL Traveler contract options available for those who reside within 75 miles.

Join us for 13-week assignments with extension options.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Graduated from a Surgical Technologist program
• State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration
• 1-year experience
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross (card required at start date)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety and quality at the point of care.
• Prepare the surgical operating suite with necessary drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain equipment and instruments in good working order.
• Assist with patient care including preparation, transport, positioning, and draping.
• Pass instruments to physicians during surgeries and account for instruments and supplies throughout procedures.
• Receive and process specimens for laboratory delivery.
• Utilize critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
