Superintendent Large-Scale Data Center Construction

Location: Upper Midwest (Remote Sites)

Project Overview

This multi-phase data center development includes several buildings, each approximately 1 million square feet, supporting 150 MW of capacity per phase. The total site potential exceeds 1 GW, with guaranteed work spanning 22.5 years, and possible extension to 57 years. Construction includes:

• Deep foundations (pipe pile and pile caps)
• Precast insulated wall panels and double-T roof systems
• Site work including roads, ponds, and underground utilities
• Winter construction strategies including temp walls and heat systems
• Coordination with multiple subcontractors and excavation teams

Role Overview

Lead field operations on a fast-paced, evolving data center project. You'll manage daily site activities, coordinate with trades, and ensure safety and schedule adherence in a high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct site operations and subcontractor activities
• Manage precast erection, deep foundations, and site utilities
• Adapt to changing scopes and fluid work plans
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards
• Communicate proactively with project teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience, preferably with large-scale industrial or data center projects
• Strong leadership and coordination skills
• Experience with precast systems, deep foundations, and winter logistics
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore)
• Willingness to work a 6-day schedule and travel between remote sites

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
