Position Overview
The Traveling Superintendent is responsible for overseeing construction projects across various locations, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires extensive travel to different job sites, where the Superintendent will coordinate all onsite activities, manage subcontractors, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish across multiple job sites
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality and efficiency
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and safety compliance
• Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders including clients, architects, and engineers
• Resolve any issues that arise during the construction process
• Prepare and maintain project schedules and reports
• Implement and enforce safety protocols on all job sites
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations
• Excellent project management skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Willingness to travel frequently to various job sites
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
• Experience with bidding and preconstruction processes is a plus
• Familiarity with Healthcare projects is a plus
