Project Manager Data Center Construction

Location: Upper Midwest

Project Overview

This high-capacity data center development includes multiple 1-million-square-foot buildings, each supporting 150 MW of infrastructure. The scope includes:

• Core and shell construction (approx. 1518% of total build cost)
• Deep foundation systems and insulated precast structures
• Site work, utilities, and coordination with MEP contractors
• Rapid design evolution and limited pre-construction documentation
• Use of Primavera P6 for integrated scheduling with external stakeholders

Role Overview

Manage planning, budgeting, and execution of core and shell construction. You'll lead coordination efforts, oversee subcontractors, and ensure timely delivery in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules using P6 and Procore
• Coordinate excavation, precast, and MEP interfaces
• Oversee procurement, submittals, and change management
• Lead weekly coordination meetings and ensure cross-trade alignment
• Drive performance with a focus on safety and schedule

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial or industrial construction
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience with evolving scopes and limited design documentation
• Familiarity with deep foundations, precast systems, and winter logistics
• Willingness to travel and spend time on-site prior to full mobilization

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
