Job Description

We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician for a dynamic role in a fast-paced adult acute care environment. The technician will be responsible for performing various radiological examinations, including fluoroscopy studies, portable imaging, and operating room procedures. This position will involve working with advanced imaging equipment and requires proficiency in a variety of settings, including emergency rooms, intensive care units, and surgical environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of radiological examinations, including X-rays and fluoroscopic studies.
• Assist in both routine and trauma imaging procedures.
• Ensure the proper preparation and administration of contrast media as necessary.
• Maintain compliance with infection prevention and isolation precautions.
• Provide imaging support in the operating room as required.
• Record and manage imaging data in the required charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician, with a strong preference for hospital or trauma center experience.
• Current certifications in ARRT (R) and BLS are required; additional certifications in fluoroscopy studies are preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems; experience with Epic is required.
• Experience in operating room settings and portable imaging is required.
