Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with at least 2 years of experience for a short-term acute care assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assignment in a short-term acute care setting on the vascular ultrasound unit
• Work schedule is four 9.5-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Rotational weekend coverage required, one weekend per month
• No on-call required
• Patient charting is completed in Paragon
• Assignment is to cover maternity leave
• Facility has a total of 232 staffed beds
• Free parking provided
• Scrub color is not restricted
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Facility operates a smoke-free campus
• Tattoos below the neck are permitted if not inappropriate and must be covered if necessary
• Earrings other than in ears must be removed during shifts
• COVID and flu vaccine declinations considered on a case-by-case basis
• Requests for time off will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Current license required if applicable
• Pending licenses are not accepted
• Documentation of two professional references required
• Must provide copies of a valid driver's license and Social Security card for consideration
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles are not accepted
