Vascular Radiology Technician

Shift:

Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30)

Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Vascular Radiology Technician to join our dynamic team. Ideal candidates will have prior experience as a Cath Lab Tech or IR Tech. Join us to make a difference in patient care!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform vascular radiology procedures and assist in complex interventions.
• Maintain a sterile environment and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
• Rotate call duties and weekends as needed by the unit, demonstrating flexibility in care delivery.
• Adhere to protocols while caring for COVID patients as required.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.

Holidays:

Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. No time off is approved between Christmas and New Year's.

Schedule Requirements:

• 5x8 hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Call rotation required, must live within a 30-minute response time.
• Willingness to stay longer if needed to care for the last patient.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Vascular Radiology Technician (consideration for candidates with less experience may be made).
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, and CCI RCIS are required.
• Ability to perform various skills including, but not limited to, interpretation of dysrhythmias, angio procedures, and vascular closures.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility.
• COVID-19 and Influenza vaccines are required (medical/religious exemptions allowed).
• Local candidates will be considered within a 50-mile radius.
• Complete required modules prior to start.
