Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification and cath lab or IR tech experience for a day shift contract.

Responsibilities

• Work in an interventional radiology unit specializing in vascular procedures
• Day shifts, 5x8 hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Call rotation required with 30-minute response time, including weekends as needed
• Holiday rotation required; must work 2 of 3 major holidays and no time off approved between Christmas and New Year's
• Care for a patient population that may include COVID patients
• EPIC EMR experience is heavily preferred
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• Interview required with the unit manager
• Clinical review will determine final approval for assignment
• Facility accepts candidates as part of a travel pair, but matched schedules are not guaranteed
• Facility has a local radius of 50 miles; local candidates are offered a lower rate

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab or IR Technologist preferred; may consider less experience
• AHA or ARC certifications accepted
• Must provide two professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years
• Completion of all required modules prior to start
• Must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes
• Maximum of 7 days RTO will be considered
• License required if applicable
