Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist with vascular and general ultrasound skills and ARDMS certification.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a general ultrasound unit serving inpatient, outpatient, neonate, NICU, PICU, and ER patients
• Work schedule consists of 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with call rotation
• Patient populations include adult, pediatric, and neonate
• Duties include performing a wide range of general and vascular ultrasound studies across various patient populations
• First time travelers are accepted for this assignment
• Scrubs may be any color except logos, cartoons, advertisements, neon, or fluorescent colors

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Ultrasound Tech required
• ARDMS and BLS required; RCS preferred
• Vascular ultrasound experience required, including arterial mapping/graft studies, Doppler studies, peripheral vascular, renal artery duplex, and extremity venous/arterial studies
• General, abdominal, and OB/GYN ultrasound experience required
• Experience with inpatient, outpatient, neonate, NICU, PICU, and ER cases required
• Flu vaccine required during flu season
• Two professional references required for consideration
• License required if applicable
